Look what I got today! My Case Red Bone CV peanut! I got a Schatt&Morgan peanut about a week ago, but it is way too pretty to use.

This one's going to be my new EDC, so watch out, alligators!

Ok, that does it. I'm going out to get one of them Peanuts. I thought I would be able to resist all the peanut porn, but I'm too weak.

Thanks everybody...the Schatt is too pretty to use jackknife...so I was forced to get the Case! I didn't want to...but I felt I had to.;)

The Case is close to the Schatt in fit and finish. It came out of the box sharper than the Schatt. And I wont feel bad about using (and possibly abusing it).

The Schatt is a jewel. Cutting open a FedEx box with it would be like driving a Ferrari to 7-11 on the corner.
 
I got a Peanut in the headed to me in the mail right now. I'm so excited. I can't wait!

Nice ones on both accounts. I'd still use the Schatt. A beautiful pocket companion.
 
Man oh man, I'M excited that so many are getting excited over Peanuts!!! Such a neat little knife, and so handy. I may carry a soddie jr. on occasion, or a SAK Cadet to work alot, but I always..... ALWAYS come back to my Peanut. I've given away stockman, soddies, trappers, saks, but I could NEVER get rid of my Peanut. UnQUESTIONABLY my favorite pattern. Good luck with your Peanuts, boys.

Oh man, thats a pretty knife! Maybe a Ferrari to the corner 7-11 is over kill to some, but it sure would be fun to see how fast it could make it down the street.:eek:

Could give new meaning to the words Big Gulp!:D

Hey marcinek, how are you enjoying your Peanut? Is it your EDC? What have you used it for? How has it performed? Inquiring minds wanna know.
 
EDC-in' and lovin' the Case Red Bone CV, el cuchillo! As a city guy and office worker I don't get to do the fun stuff a lot of the rest of you do with your knives, but I've been opening just about anything I can get my hands on...I'm enjoying sharpening it with my Sharpmaker...you can feel the CV getting sharp, somehow...so I'be been shaving off some forearm hairs with it...

I tell you what I really like about it...you can roll it around in your hand and fingers and it feels good. Ever see the Caine Mutiny? Bogart and the ball bearings? Its really kinda soothing!
 
Well, not only did I skin that gator with mine, this past week I also skinned an Eastern Diamond Back Rattlesnake. It died on us and noone knew why, so we disected it, and as our zookeeper went looking for a scalpel, I used my trusty peanut, and just as before, it cut right through the reptiles scales. Gutted the snake and took a look inside. Couldn't find any answers, but did get to put my Peanut to good use once again. I love this thing.
