for the love of God please answer this!

think he's talking about the raised or pan head type pocket clip screws that make putting the knife into a pocket all the way hard to impossible depending on how thick the pocket edge material is. also can catch the pocket edge on the way out. think he's looking for recessed head screws to be flat and even with the scale and clip.....or some solution like this.....
 
A better title that includes what the subject is would probably be more effective at gathering help.
 
If you chuck up a screw in an electric hand drill, you can spin grind the head against a moving belt to reduce the diameter or turn a round head into a pan head.
 
You can do that (and I just did so on the screws to a clip of similar design yesterday) but you have to be careful in reducing the height of the head bc you need enough depth for the torx/Allen/whatever bit to get a solid purchase or you'll strip the head.
