KNIFEHOW WEB SITE
There is a great one stop site for all kinds of info and tutorials. It is www.knifehow.com . There is info for the newbie, and metallurgical charts for the old timer.Knife and material suppliers, book and video lists, you name it.If you can't find what you want you can request it and the moderators will try to find it for you.You can add your favorite links and tutorials to the site by entering them in the submissions box.You don't have to be a member to use this site.It is a information site ,so there is no Q&A forum, that is what Bladeforums is here for.Sign up anyway so you can easily add the things you discover to this site.

Dan, thank you for all this info that you have taken the time to make available to everyone.

It appears that the "free, hostdepartment. com" has gone away---What's the deal?---Anyone know?--I really enjoyed that site Cooter

Cooter,
I'm not sure if they took it down or are just moving it to a new server (as I've had no email from them about it). That page was a backup site. All the info is still available at http://gbrannon.bizhat.com/

Greg
