The Four Khukuri Safety Rules:
1) All Khukuris are sharp...all the time.
2) Keep your Khukuri in the scabbard until you are ready to CHOP.
3) Do not swing your Khukuri at anything you are not willing to destroy.
4) Be sure of what's behind and beyond your target. Don't damage other stuff when your target falls down or the Khukuri cuts through it.
The above are a slightly tongue in cheek modification of the classic firearm safety rules, but the more I thought about it, the less like a joke it seemed.
