No this is not a thread about my savior Jesus Christ, but it is a thread about how the WTB(want to buy) forum does work.

I have posted several threads in the WTB forum all with good results. Most of my posts were for fairly available knives, with the exeption of the last two.

One was for a Sus Scrofa with the old style green linen that I was able to score and the other was for a more rarer satin and green linen meaner.

I had to be persistant but it finally paid off with the score of a mint condition greenlinen meaner.

So my point is if you are looking for a certain Busse, post a WTB add and keep bumping it up every week and you never know what might happen.

Now for the pics, I hope you enjoy.

I would have taken a pic of the scrofa too, but it is at Tom Kreins for a face lift!!:)

BTW HOGs, if you have any Busses with this old style green linen please post a pic. I would love to see some other Busses with this handle material.
It is easily my favorite.

Congratulation!!! I try to find similar and I know how hard it is.

BTW Now you can send to me pumpkin Busses... :p

Wow!

THose two green linens are something special. If you ever want to get to me:D

Now you know how;):D

WTB is a great thing. It's how I paid 50c on teh dollar for my SHSHII. ;) (No, not hte WTB here.)

But it DOES work.

hey i'm coming up on the 1 year mark and haven't even seen a pic of the knife i'm looking for. anyway's, those are very nice slab's you got there, great score with the linen!

How do you get the green linen to look like that (on the FSH), oil, sealer ...?

George,

There is no oil or anything whatsoever on either one. As a matter of fact I washed the FSH last week real good with dish detergent and warm water to make sure there wasent any oil on them.

Its just the natural beauty of them there old school green linen slabs that I love so much.

Thanks for the nice words guys.
