Any chance of getting full length scales like the 2? Pretty please with sugar on top?:D
 
Personally, I'm not sure I'd want full length scales. Would have to think about that. I think they might be too thin around the hole, and not hold up. IIRC, the hole on the Izzy II is smaller, to give the scales more meat around it.
 
+1 - if you want full length Izzy scales, you'd need to cover the finger hole or they'd break.
that said, I've seen some pretty nice full length custom scales posted here in the forum.
 
man I would love full length scales as well, ansd I want the hole covered my pinkie just does not sit in it right I saw a while back that someone made some scales for their izy out of G10 and it covered the hole if any one knows someone who would make these and sell them I would love to know
 
Full length scales would have their pro's and con's.

I personnally use the hole in the handle to draw the knife when in a pocket sheath along with other things. But if you had full-length ones on there it would probably be a bit better feeling in hand.

In the end, you can't make everyone happy 100% of the time but ESEE does a pretty good job of most of use pretty happy most of the time.
 
I would not like larger scales on my izula.

I have larger than average hands. The current izula scales are a perfect size for 2 fingers, and my ring finger sits comfortably across the hole. Full size scales would rub my ring finger i think, making it less comfortable. While its possible full scales would be as comfortable, the current configuration fits my hand so well i don't really feel like i'm missing out by not having that option.

I like the wrap one the original Izula.. but that is just me. To me it feels good in the hand with the wrap. I may feel differently after I gut a deer with it though.
 
I dont understand the apparent importance of the hole on the Izula handle. Pinky hole??? Hey, what you guys do in the privacy of your own home is your business:p.

Full handles would be much appreciated.:thumbup:
