For those that support Knife Rights.....

What the hell do you say to stuff like that? So some knives will be outlawed? In 18 years in law enforcement I can't remember the last time I went to a stabbing/cutting and it was a Becker, Busse, SOG, Emerson or the like...... Now kitchen knives or crappy gun show folders, that's a different story. Ridiculous. Maybe that's the answer, BAN kitchen knives!

Maybe we should just ban people, that'd keep the crime rate down.

I'm just surprised the guberment wants to ban anything, as fond as they are of "taxing" and "regulating". I guess they thought a tax on knives just sounded too dumb, so they just skipped to the part where they pretend to "get things accomplished" under their watch so they can justify their paychecks [\rant].

boston already has pretty damn restrictive local laws overriding state and federal... MA overall is about the second most evil state next to CA followed possibly by NY. jerks.

which is probably why NH simplified its knife laws to wit: the state sets the laws, no town or county or city or asshat shall infringe these rules. period. the rules: a super basic: everything is legal, including switchblades, except gravity and spring knifes, and something else random i don't recall...

respect the people :)

honor your mods

stop asking about tweeners for a month ;)

Not to brag....okay, maybe just a little...but, Knife Rights is the reason that New Hampshire has such great knife laws. Knife Rights funding and lobbying resulted in passage of a Knife Rights Bill in 2010 that rescinded the long-standing restrictions on switchblades, dirks, daggers and stilettos. This year we passed Knife Law Preemption.

How ironic that freedom loving New Hampshire, with essentially no knife restrictions, is next door to Massachusetts where they want to restrict virtually everything. What a divergent path they have taken since 1776...

Please support Knife Rights so we can create a Sharper Future for all Americans™. Freedom is not free; it takes money to push back against the forces of darkness.

This month The NRA's America's 1st Freedom magazine includes a 12-page feature article on Knife Rights: "Will Knives Fold?" The article chronicles the founding of Knife Rights and notes that "with startling parallels to the anti-gun movement, knife rights are under attack today. Here's why NRA members should take note." It a succinct summary of the issues that face all knife owners and how Knife Rights is fighting for a Sharper Future™ for all Americans in the second front in defense of the second amendment™.

I think the real ban here should be on teenagers. The ages from 15-18 should be permanently written out of our aging structure. I too was stricken by the youth bug of, partying, drinking under age, poor work ethic. I barely survived it. That is why I would like you guys to support my Limitation Of Longevity or "LOL" bill.

It's time to put a stop to youth crime and general uselessness.

and starting right now, 18-21 yos should be made to work long hours and provide a tiered pyramid structure of tons of money so i can retire.

plus they should provide breeding stock, and we'll perfect a master race :)

the ones below that will not emerge from training zones, where they will get plenty of sunshine and exercise as they toil in fields, with education drones floating overhead teaching them skills they will need when they turn 18 and can operate dangerous machinery :> if they learn well, and fast, they might get better jobs and out of those fields. they'll be plugged in and grow like daisies.

well, yeah, i like kids. mostly the problem seems to be parents :) eliminate the parents! that's it !!! :D:D :D :D

it's completely ironic that MA following lockstep seemingly with CA and NY wants more and more to become like England :) no guns. no knives. well, except for the 1% ;) hahahhahaha.

yeah, NH is a great place to live. sorry, we're full :) MA has room from all the people leaving.

knife rights will get more monies from me :>

I, in my 48 yrs of life & 24 yrs in the LE field, have come to the conclusion that common sense, is not so common anymore. Furthermore, I also believe that some people are deficient in certain brain cells &/or DNA. Why, you ask ? It is because, somewhere along the line, the people who think like the 2 in the video, stopped holding THE PERSON WHO COMMITTED THE CRIME ACCOUNTABLE & started blaming the object. Furthermore, they think it is the OBJECT that is evil & dangerous, which is why they want to pass these laws. Ask anyone in prison for committing a crime with a gun, if they had to do an absolute mandatory of 10 yrs in prison just for the gun, & after ballistics were run on it, if there were any outstanding homicides on it, they would also get charged for that as well, if they would still use a gun in that crime ??? I suspect the answer would be ----NO. But thats just me. YOMV.

CA law allows open carry of a fixed blade( any size) , concealed carry of any non-automatic folder( any size), and legal concealment of automatics with small ( under 2") blades.
Only large Automatics are prohibited from carry/ posession.
In CA, you can openly carry a broadsword, and be within the law( though you may draw some questions and attention from LEO asking why you are strolling around with a 2 foot chopper..you won't get arrested for it.)

Not very restrictive at all IMHO, thought I do disagree with the Automatic regulations (autos are no more dangerous than a screwdriver or any legal folding blade).
I live in CA and openly carry a 10 inch WSK fixed blade, or a 7 inch drop point on my belt almost every single day, and keep a folder in my pocket.
I have never had a single problem with any LEO I have encountered, and even let one use my blade to cut a seatbelt from an accident victim. ( Im also 43, so that may be a factor, but who knows)

again, I just don't think CA is all THAT restrictive on knives specifically.
Guns in CA are a totally different story. CA seeks to unconstitutionally disarm every citizen when it comes to handguns
