Here is an authentic Boy Scout Hatchet sheath that I am going to replicate (or make a derivative) of on a few hatchets coming my way. I thought I would pass on the measurements before I did so.

The drawing has a scale on the left that is 10 inches long and set by the inch. If you printed this to scale you would have an accurate tracing of the mask.

I would like to see one Tf. My dad got a new Plumb scout hatchet when he was in scouts in the early 1940's. I took it over when I went into the scouts. I made it to eagle had it on many campouts. I still have the hatchet but the sheath rotted out many years ago. That was the first axe in my obsession.

Half - sounds good. I have one on the way right now - and a Collins of the same head size. I may give it a shot in the next week or so.
