Looks like LM is doing a knifeless version of the Rebar, scissors instead of the blade. it seems they have heard your cries!

They announced this a couple months ago at SHOT.

It still has a saw, though, which makes it pretty useless for travel.

True, but for guys who carry a dedicated knife anyway, its an option. to be honest dealing with the TSA rules in the states is a lost cause, so you pretty well have to check all tools to be safe. Europe might be better, but not as big a market. If it was, Vic would be all over it.
