For those who use lanyards (deep pocket carry question)

My question is for those of you who deep pocket carry your knives. Do you use a lanyard, and if so, where does it go? Does it hang out of your pocket or stay inside, just so you can find the knife easier? Bonus question: what is your favorite knife to carry this way?

What's deep pocket carry? Is that not using the clip or just having it at the very end of the frame? Either way i like lanyards to pull knives from pockets. Outside of pocket.Favorites would be Benchmade 275 or DPX HEST to carry with the lanyard.

Deep pocket, to me at least, is just carrying your knife loose in the bottom of your pocket

I don't use a lanyard for deep pocket carry. It's already loose. Meaning I don't have to pull the clip off anything, and I don't have to remove it from a snug sheath. So I carry it loose at the bottom of my pocket. I have a couple of them.

Most of the knives I carry loose in my pocket are smaller knives and I always have a lanyard on them; mainly so that I have more to hold on to in the hand, but having a small lanyard or fob on them makes them so much easier to find and grab out of my pocket. My favorite one to carry with a lanyard is my Kershaw Scallion which I normally slip into the coin pocket in my jeans. The little fob sticks out so I can easily grab it and be ready to go.
