Give me about an hour and you will ;)

Did a test run on a coated clip and it turned out nicely, reminds me of Direware's "dark tumbled" finish.
 
It looks like absolutely nothing.

Spyderco's DLC is evidently harder than I thought! 75 minutes in the dryer (no heat) with sandstone, some rough small rocks, some larger rough rocks, and a wee bit of soap and water. Nothing.

Well, "DLC" stands for "Diamond-Like Coating" I believe.

Maybe you are just using the wrong media...

Looks like I need to grind up my extra coarse Diasharp and try again :D . I'll shoot some pics of the clip in good light tomorrow and post them...it really does look good.

Damn these PM2 liners and the pressed-in lanyard tube, I'd love to try out this method on them.
