For Umfaan Fans

I just saw that NGK has a few mint Umfaans including this beauty. I wish I could afford it.

Yikes ! I have one similar I bought years back . Unlike most things I buy this one seems to have been an investment. My wife will never believe me .
 
Umfaan's are definitely cool little knives, but the price on that flash makes me shudder.
 
Nice! Its good to see mint Umfaan's on the market... heck, its good to see any Umfaans!
 
They have become desirable because they're out of production, and rare. In terms of construction, they are basically tiny Sebenzas.

Another thing that makes them desirable is that they complete the trifecta of the regular pattern.
 
Nukemkb, I've never seen those. Where can I see them?
My BG42 Classic is the most precious one to me.

I'm certainly no expert on these - but if I recall correctly, eb*y price started at $1400 and I did not notice where it ended on one of the gold coin knives.
 
If you mean the one that closed on eBay about a week ago, it was the one with the musical notes (second from the right in the picture above) and it went for $1100. The auction number was 180245869156.

I missed that one! I would say the price is more reasonable - but its still out of my reach...
