Hey guys. Just watched on Netflix (streaming) Happy People: A Year in the Taiga. Its a low budget documentary centering on Russian trappers who live a very basic, rudimentary life in Siberia. Lots of trapping, ice fishing and 50 below zero weather, and quite remote. But a very good watch, I think, and even for the non W&SS crowd. Just FYI for those who have Netflix or Amazon Prime, and are interested in the frozen tundra, bearded Russians who know what its like to survive, and axe-hewn sable traps. Rock on.

...and it's been on there for a long time. I think I'm on about 4 views so far, fearing it's disappearing one day. Excellent film!!

Extended version

Thanks for that. It looks like its about 3.5 hours.

I can watch it on the tv using Roku's Youtube channel.

There is a little irony here that these Russian guys are at a subsistence level of survival, and I'm watching them on technology that I don't understand.
