I thought I had that figured out...the 0121 was my original choice for a fixed-blade ZT. Then I watched the above videos along with another one where the user whips the 0100 cleanly through a full, heavy plastic water bottle in one swipe, and now the 0100 is looking better and better.

I've spent too much on knives recently anyway, so it's a non-issue at the moment, but I know I'm going to want one or the other eventually (or both!)...

Anyway, I hear ya...

this is the video in question. and it'd ridiculous. now i just gotta add it to the ever expanding list of gotta haves.
 
Yes, actually, the person in the vid is Ezzekial here on Bladeforums. He is a friend of mine actually. In the vid, he had really just got the knife. Overall, kick@ss knife! I actually sharpened the knife to a hair whittling edge for him as you saw in the vid. Most of my sharpens on knives cut just the top of the water bottle, and the bottom stays right where it was. I know it is really easy with my 0121, so I can fully say, either knife is great. The 0121 will still top bottles leaving the bottom in one spot!:thumbup:
 
yep thats my knife i love it it really is about hte first time i tried to top a water bottle so the teqnique is not very refined, the knife overall though is bombproof and holds an edge pretty damn good compared to my other knives, i also have the zt0200st which is the folder version of the fixed blade 0100 and together they make one hell of a pair for the fixed blades the 0121 is great for concealed or everyday use with the same beefiness as the 0100, but in my opion i believe the 0100 is better when hiking or in heavy use but its all a personal preference
 
yeah but it does the job for normal every day use i just like haveing something more substantial for hiking and camping
 
after the shot vid for lapolicegear or whatever they were called, and he said all that crazy stuff you can do with an 0100 (stab into cinder block wall and climb over with it, among other things) I really want one.
 
I have the 0400 and the 0121. The 0100 is a big knife. No concealing that thing. The 0121 fits nicely in my Maxpedition fatboy so I can take it with me in 7-11. It is still one awesome hunk of steel and could hack down a small tree. I still want the 0100 though.
 
I can't wait until I have enough to afford a 0121.
I'm really wanting something smaller to replace my ka-bar.
