Was watching a documentary on National Geographic the other night and got to thinking...
IF stranded in a seaside environment, foraging for edibles should not be a problem... but seafood can often contain some nasties that'll give you really bad food poisoning... so...
Crabs seem to be abundant in some areas... but can ALL crabs that you catch be eaten? Is there some special way to clean them B4 you eat them?
And I guess this thread also applies to other crustaceans you might be able to forage... like lobster/crayfish or shrimp. Anything we should stay away from?
I'll start another thread on shellfish as I think that warrants another discussion...
