Hey Guys...

Have a question on the force One...

Is the Force One, a Tanto?

The one pictured on the busse company store site looks like a Tanto,, however the one I have has more of a belly, instead of two actually different grinds ..

Any idea ??

I could be wrong, but I believe the one you are describing is more of the traditional Japanese tanto and two seperate grinds is the American version of a tanto. I prefer the Japanese style.
 
Mine seems to have a pretty sharp transition, but the edge does appear to have a slight curve. Anyone else have a pic of theirs for a comparison shot? I would be happy to host it.:D

Well, the Force One isn't a tanto.

I have one and I absolutely love it though. It's designed as a stabber and oh boy does it penetrate! I belive Jerry described it as an "Entry Tool" once. Not sure how it would be used that way, but it's gone through literally everything I've put it up against with no problem.
