Forced patina and O1 steel

Hey all,
Thought I would try something different on my David Farmer Spirit Keeper. I used plain ol' yellow mustard and left it on the blade for about 1 hour. I might buff it out and try something else. I was surprised how fast the mustard reacted with the steel. Just thot I'd let you guys all see what mustard can do.

I like the pattern, how did you apply it?

Thanks guys,
I put a very fine coating of mustard on the blade and then "tapped" it with a finger to create the pattern. I had never seen one like it before so thought it might be unique.
