forced patina on stainless?

I would like to put a patina on my case sodbuster jr. In stainless steel and was wondering if it would be possible for this knife. All comments are welcome and suggestions on how best to go about this are even better. Thanks all!

Use Sulfamic acid mixed with hot water to form a paste.
