The Ford Fiesta is not a well regarded car in the UK, it tends to be wanna' be boy racers that think their first car is the bees knees that have them. It's up (down) there with the Vauxhall nova/corsa and the like.

But that would be a Fiesta worth having I think !

In the USA we always complained about not getting Fords that were available in Europe.Now with the new Fiesta and 2012 Focus things will be better.
KB started late in life learning to drive in rallies like our Rally New York but he's caught up quickly.Best wishes to him !!

It's a fine car when someone slaps $300 tires on it, and a few dozen grand in modifications to push 650HP, and keep everything in more or less one piece.

Factory stock, it's about as exciting as my Mitsubishi Lancer GTS, nice enough car, handles great, but it is far from a performance car.

And sometimes, I just feel like an abject failure. After watching that video, this is one of those times. Both for lacking a ridiculously ridiculous car like that, and the skill to use one.

That video reminds me of my best friend Bill. He had a Toyota MR2 back in our formative (i.e. getting in trouble) years that he pretty much drove almost like that. I told him he needed to get the vanity license plate that read "BILLLLL", cause that's pretty much what I was screaming as a passenger while he was pulling crap like that.

I did get some sweet revenge on him though... I was taking him to O'hare airport, and was merging onto I-294 and managed to SQUEEZE my '67 Pontiac Catalina in-between two semi's with about 6" to spare on either side... at about 90mph or so. I knew I would make it... he didn't.
