Foreign Knife Laws

Anyone know about knife laws in other countries or where to find out about them? I'm talking about outside of America.

I've just done Google searches for the knife laws in whatever country.
I was wondering about France, so I typed in "Knife laws in France."
Came back with good results pretty quickly.

Lots of travel forums will have info, as well as bushcraft or EDC forums (easier with English speaking countries) Also you can contact the US consulate in that country for some guidance. They will at least be able to tell you what the penalties and restrictions are, even if they suggest not carrying anything.
