Have you guys ever noticed that most foreign knife production plants go crazy with the freaking Loctite, or at least over tighten fasteners?
Almost every Chinese or Taiwanese knife I have was a &#$% to take apart. Even the screws on my spyderco Sage-1 almost stripped my Torx wrench. I'm trying to take apart my newly aquired CRKT Drifter and what a PITA!!! The main pivot screw is just not budging, and the action was incredibly tight out of box. I HATE not being able to take a knife apart. It's a huge con for me. My Kershaw Crown was like that and so was the Chill. As well as my Cold Steel Tilite and my CRKT m16. It's so annoying. Sometimes I really hate cheaper, high value knives. All my benchmades and USA Kershaws are easy to disassemble. Nice snug fit on all the fasteners. Same with my Sebenza and Alias I. Needed to vent...
