Thought Id post some pics of me getting out and about the other day. I like seeing the post's of other Swine doing the same :D.

There are some woods with a nice trail near me. A lot of Ivy is in there and it takes down trees from time to time. I decided to take advantage of the situation and do some good deed's. The Pork Chop was my Forest weapon of Choice :)

I did get a bit of a hot spot on my Thumb meat from the Chop. I'm pretty sure it was from the micarta and not the top talon hole. I'm thinking i'm going to make a paracord D guard and see if that will allow me to hold it more near the butt without it slipping out of my hand. Or I might just try and use some paracord and wrap it around my wrist, attaching it to the top talon hole. Maybe both!

As for the performance of it, I think it did really well...however:D I'm with Oge ( I think that's who posted what i'm about to say) on this one....I would like to see another PC made 2 inches longer lol...Maybe double bladed...or not lol. But definitely 2-3 inches longer for an even bigger swinging killer cool axe/hatchet that you can still carry around easily. I love the Pork Chop though, it's a hefty sucker.

I made a post about the PC a while ago showing all the kindling I made with it. I thought i'd also show you my little spot where I make all my kindling.

Great post!

Sometimes I'm afraid if I don't watch myself at the at the batoning I'll end up with all kindling and no logs lol.

Thank you!, I went hog wild with the pork chop after I first got it and had to have me a few kindling fires looooool...I got really carried away.

Cool dog, that Dusty. Downright handsome.

ETA: Sorry... blades are pretty cool, too. ;)

Hey thanks! He really is my pride and joy on 4 legs. Your Rot looks like a fine specimen as well! Got any more pics of him ( or her ) ?

I think I do somewhere. I had more posted up in various places, then I was a victim of botophucket. I'll try to dig some up and post them... somehow....
