Forest Trail Knife by Blind Horse, now being made L.T. Wright.
I have been looking at this knife since it was in the design phase. I like the looks of it. Solid and capable without being all MN.
I have searched, there are a few videos out there. But I have limited net access due to where I live.
I would love to hear from owners and users. About your likes and dislikes with regard to this knife. I have many knives. Slicers, choppers, fighters. I am looking at this knife as a general purpose camp/life knife.
I know it won't carve like a Puukko, or filet like a filet knife. And I am not really looking for alternatives. At least not here and now. I just would like to hear about the Forest Trail from folks with experience.
Of the three grinds, I am leaning towards the saber. I have several scandi knives and while great when working with wood. I find them lacking in other areas. I realize this is subjective, and I am not picking an scandi grinds.
But again, I am looking for a jack of all trades solution. And yes I know there will be trade offs.
Thanks in advance for your feedback
