I just found my trusty (not One Handed) Forester and had a question. The main blade has all the normal stampings on one side...
But this on the opposite side...
(These photos are from my Trekker, but the stampings are identical.)
I found out what they are...
The seven-digit number is the trademark number for this knife. It's military issue for both German and Dutch soldiers.
DE= Deutsch (German)
GM= Gebrauchsmuster (registered design)
9305297= The registered design number itself
However, the numbers are identical for both the Trekker and the Forester, which I find odd. They're not too different; the Forester is just a Trekker with a corkscrew instead of a Phillips screwdriver. But shouldn't the design number be different? I thought they just used left-over Trekker blades for some Foresters (like how some Farmers have dated Soldier blades) but I'm not sure.
Do any other Forester owners (not the One Handed Forester) have the same blade stampings?
