I went dove shooting on Saturday with a friend who is a transplanted Cajun. He literally grew up in the woods, and is an exceptional outdoorsman. While traveling I handed him my AD and asked him what he thought of it. Having never seen or heard of a Busse knife before, he handled it and contemplated it for a minute, and then said, "That is a forever knife. You can use it forever, it ain't gonna wear out. It's tough. And with that bevel ground high like that, it must be a real razor."

Very astute, I thought.

No, he still has the accent, but there is no way I can make it sound like it really did!

I told him Saturday that until I met him I always thought that New Orleans was two words.

Right, that would be Niorlins...

I hear the duelling banjos calling. Ah, the deliverence of it all.

i hear they hunt people down there.... van dam, where did you go wrong?...

thats a heck of a compliment :D the ad has a way of melding with your hand...

other knives make me giddy, but the ad feels like home.

cajun accents are awesome...
