Ok so im new to the forging part of knife making but not to knife making as a whole. Most of my efforts up to this point have been pre shaped blades that I have put an edge and a handle on and some reshaping. Im trying to build a forge. I have access to a pretty substantial metal shop and have so far made the bodies for two forges. Both are made out of 1/4" plate that is rolled and welded. One is 16" by 18" long the other is 14" by 16 long. I am thinking the bigger of the two will be forced air the smaller a venture type. I have many questions and am not sure where to even direct them. I know I need to insulate the forges but as far as is koawool the best way to go or how many burners for each im at a bit of a loss....HELP Please
