Forged 52100 S guard Bowie

First time I have ever attempted a blade this size - both challenging and fun with a few hair pulling moments.

Blade: 320X46X6 - 52100 edge quenched and "aged" with Ferric.
OAL: 420
Handle is Damascus S guard with Bush Willow and Damascus but cap/pommel. Spacers are brass and s/steel

Very nice Bowie!Though the gaurd is a little over the top for me,the blade and handle are extremely nice.

It is beautiful. Love the blade shape and handle. Not so much for the guard but I'm a minimalist but I see the martial usefulness in it.

Well... if you want some honesty, I don't like the guard. The rest works for me. I think this knife would look better with a more conventional guard... even a more conventional S guard.

Nice blade and handle, guard is too much. Draws my eye and keeps it.

I like it, the guard makes it into more of a fighting weapon in my opinion.
