Forged Chute Knife

here is a forged "chute" knife that i just finished. it has a blade of 5160 that has been triple quenched and triple tempered, it is just over 5.25" long. handle is black canvas micarta and it is 5" long to the front of the guard. Blade is .250 thick at the guard. let me know what Ya'll think.

Looks like it fills the hand nicely, light and quick with crisp lines!

I really like the blade design. I see many different influences in this knife. Even though a chute knife I see some bowie/fighter characteristics.

That is what I was about to say. But from what I can see the knife looks good. Maybee you can have your son show you how to focus your camera.
 
Very Clean Erik. Nice grind lines I did think it was black wood when I got my first look at it. but even with good gear I can't take a good shot. so your not alone.
