Hi there everyone,
Just recently I have been on the hunt for a hawk styled like the cold steel frontier hawk but I would like one that is forged by someone rather than a company piece.

My budget is around 100, and I'd like something very much like the Pathfinder Scout Hawk.

What do you suggest?

Thanks in advance

I just picked my Iroquois Hawk (like a Cold Steel Frontier) from Fort Turner and will post some pics next week.
It's forged by the man himself (Dana) and I requested a customised spec weight of about 20oz, so its light fighter not a woods chopper.

http://www.fortturner.com/store/index.htm (Model D)

Still under $100 with a very high quality sheath, 1095 hard edge with a forged 1020 body.

Overall I am very happy - reasonable turn around time and good communications from the maker.

Sound's like your looking for something like these

Yep Fort Turner all the way, I've been to lot's of Rendezvous with Hawk throwing compitition's and I've seen Forged Hawk's from all sort's of maker's and I aint seen none that compare to Fort Turner In quality and the cutting edge on Dana's Hawk's will skin a Coon ! HB Forge are really nice also and Great River Forge Hawk's are top of the line,
