Nice one, Kentucky!!

Did you harden the poll? I can picture that one going along on rafting trips!

That would make an awesome belt axe. The poll design makes it very versatile.

Well done!

Was is forged from an old single-jack sledge? I can't help but notice that the eye looks like a sledge eye.

No that eye was slit and drifted..It was a solid bar of 1080 steel..Thanks guys..

Nice one of a kind design! I like your stamp. Looks like a heavy user have you field tested it?
Would like more info on it.

Sweet!! I could see y'all selling a bunch of these, wouldn't mind having one myself.

Man that is a working tool right there. Hatchet on one side, small sledge on the other. Nice work.

Great hatchet! The shiny blade makes it to a real beauty! The haft also is a great work! Congratz!

Kind regards
Andi

I'm digging that little beauty. That straight handle really sets that little gal apart from all the other camp hatchets. Ive never been really fond of camp hatchets but I have always loved rigging axes and swung one daily during my years as a carpenter. Good balance and good lookin. That is an exceptional piece of craftsmanship you have there friend.

What is the length on the handle?

If you ever feel the need to send something to Alaska, could you put a few little waffle marks on the head for less slippage and more grippage please?
