Here's a nice little guardless hunter I made to take to the Blade show. Really nice and light in hand, compact but quite durable. Went with a dark theme on this one.

Specs:
Hand forged from 1075 steel, clay quenched and etched
3 3/4" blade, 8 1/8" overall, .190" thick at the ricasso w/ full distal taper
Rounded spine and ricasso edge for comfort
Filed, rounded thumb grip
Damascus fluted collars with damascus coined spacer
Premium Curly Hard Maple handle, stained black and oil finished
Damascus Bolt cover

All comments and discussion welcome.

That is exceptional!

If I could get to Blade I'd head right over to your table first thing with cash in hand.

Doesn't get better than this. Yeah lots of pretty knives out there but in terms of size and the subtle but exquisite details, you have nailed it with this one.

You might have noticed - I like it :D

Thanks Chad and Ben!

Thanks much for your kind words! This knife is immediately available. I made it to take to Blade, but it doesn't HAVE to go to Blade. Shoot me an email at jdoyleknives AT gmail DOT com if you'd like to discuss a purchase or be on my email list for future available knives.

Thanks again for posting.

I love this, classic and clean work!

It has Doyle all over it:thumbup:

I'll bet it handles like a Ducati.
Great looking piece, John:thumbup::cool:

Yeah - but are you supposed to use such a great knife - wear it only as an accessory - or keep it safe on view under glass?

I vote use it - but what do I know?

I'd f-ing use it! Same goes for a Ducati :)

I'd use it for sure. That's what it's built for. :)

Thanks for the comments everyone. I appreciate it.
