Here's the next one off the list. This will be a user and was requested to be as simple as possible. I really like this knife. The lack of some of the embellishments is what appeals to me about this one. For a larger hunter, it's very light and thin and disappears in my hand.

Forged from 1084
9" overall with 4" of cutting edge, .180" at the ricasso
Heavily rounded spine and ricasso
The handle is just a hair under 1/2" thick at the guard
German silver guard and pin
Contoured handle of East Indian rosewood

Knives don't need to be fancy to be good. Sometimes simple can be absolutely sublime. This is a prime example. Great job!

That will no doubt make for an excellent companion for the new owner. Nice!

Perfect all-around hunter!! I'd be quite happy to try her out on a hog or white-tail around this area... :)

Hmmmm; I keep having this visual running through my head of this exact style knife, only with W2 blade(a bit more activity in the Hamon and a bit better edgeholding) and burgundy linen micarta handle. :love-struck:

That would be cool. You'll have to try it...........or I will down the road when I get some more time.

That burgundy or maroon linen micarta looks good on the right knife and it might look good on something like this.

Great work John, I think you nailed this one perfectly. I love how the Silver stands out in the guard but especially the pin. Handle looks super comfy based on the spine shot.
