Pretty knife. I like the edge too.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is "Heirloom fit?"

Who supplied the mammoth, Charles Turnage?

One more question :) with the integral bolster, how were the grooves in the bolster darkened?

Thanks!

Heirloom fit is to made the handle slightly larger than the bolster/collar to prevent any shrinkage in the future and also to show the craftsmanship of the maker because it is rather difficult to do.

The mammoth was bought from German supply, can't remember the name tho.

The grooves in the bolster is darkened by heat.

Thanks!

I’m not a fan of Mammoth Tooth but you did a fine job on that knife.
