Forged O-1 Cutter

I forged this one with the intent of making a competition cutter. It is slightly smaller than ABS maximum size. I guess I will just have to see how she cuts different things.

Forged O-1 w/full distal taper
Flat Ground w/convex edge
Very, Very old Natural Canvas Micarta w/slight palm swell
OAL - 14"
Blade Tip to Ricasso - 9 1/4"

Nice clean lines, no frills. Like the old Cajun sez, "I like dat me!"
Appreciate the unintentional reminder. Somewhere in my shop is a piece
of old Micarta. 30 yrs. ago it was the Counter top in the tool room of Bludworth Shipyard in Houston.
