I picked this knife up recently and cannot find out all I would like to know about it. It is an Equal End that I would call a 4 Blade Cattle. It appears to have been a premium knife to some degree in that it is a four bladder, threaded bolsters, punch, jigged bone, etc. It is mechanically as sound as the day it was new. It was well used but also well carried for. No lazy springs, everything is tight with good walk and talk. All the blades have adequate clearance in the closed position. All in all a very nice knife.
Now for the issue. There is only one tang stamp marking on the entire knife. FORGED over USA. I posted a similar thread about a tang stamp that leaves one hanging awhile back:

This is a similar situation, even concerning some of the same players maybe. Goins' makes this one short attribute, "c 1941-1960 "Craftsman" is etched on the blade."
From the above thread you can see the potential players for the production of this knife, most likely.
Your thoughts and comments are appreciated. Mainly, who made it?
