I see a lot of Buck stuff about "forged" and "stamped".
Is there a way to eyeball a 110 blade and tell?
Or, is it another one of those quija board tricks you guys will have me do? You know, like when I was a Tenderfoot and sent to other patrols to get a west wind smoke deflector or a left handed frying pan? Rub it on your jeans, blow on it, smell it, throw it up in the air and see how it falls. Oh, and then there's the "snipe hunt" at 8PM!!!!

Be sure and use your "good " eye when lookin' at steel,
it has something to do with the stamping of the date code
or lack therefore of.
I hope everthing is plane to see now:D

Yeah, but can you tell by eyeballing a blade if it is stamped or forged? Maybe the spine has a particular angle or the tang...I dunno what I dunno.
Plain as rain in Spain Ron.
