Hello,

This is what it's going to be the main attraction on my stand in the next gun/knives fair here in Buenos Aires.

I still have to make the handle and sheath, but I wanted to share this pictures, please let me know what you think :)

It's a damascus made from cable, ball bearings and nickel and copper coins.

That is fantastic! I have never seen a blade with copper included in the blend before. I like it.

By the way, great pictures.

Good pictures!
I think that's going to be nice looking when complete.
Hopefully, you can post a photo when finished.

Ha, Ha, that's because you've never been to Argentina where the coins aren't worth much.
Ariel, I didn't know you were from Buenos Aires, I have family there.
Me gusto mucho.

very nice - love your creative touch, Ariel.

tracer-san,
the inflation is Argentina in the past was awful.......
almost every coin at one time was worth less than $.01
It's been a while since I've checked, though.

I know inflation allrigh...

Guard is coppered damascus and handle is maple.

I still have to make the bottom part of the handle, as it won't be plain

Ariel

Wow, that is becoming one stunning blade. Your chain damascus has always been interesting, but this is one step beyond. very cool!!!

Ok, I finished it :)

I'll have nicer pictures on Friday, but these will work for now.

I didn't make a sheath for it, as I will be offering the buyer the posibility to choose between a sheath, a wooden box or both.

Love the blade and etched guard. A little handle carving, and this would have been a dreamer. ;)

Hey folks,

Ariel is at the show, but I wanted to show some pictures I took yesterday of the incredible dagger he made...

I haven't got a chance of handling it before, I just saw pictures like you, but I gotta tell you, it's AWESOME!!!

Without further ado, here are the pictures, enjoy!

This time I saved the hi res pictures with no compression, so if anyone wants that, just drop me an email (I'll try to zip them and place them on Ariel's website next time I add knives there)

Smaller ball bearings welded on cable damascus and then coppered:

Those blacks spots are placed there on purpose, it's some kind of blueing to add contrats to the copper.
