Forging equipment

Hopefully if all goes well I would like to start forging next year.
I was wondering what sort of cost I will be looking at for a power hammer and hydraulic press capable of most work. Pattern weld and such ??

together? 5-7k for new ones, but less if you can get them used or put them together yourself.

That all depends, if you can pick up a hammer at an equipment auction you may find one like I did that needs work for a couple hundred or you can pay big bucks and buy new, either way You go a hammer is a must have if you do much forging at all. I still use a sledge some but that gets old quick 
