Everyone, I have been working at Peter's valley with little to no connectivity, so sorry for the lack of communication, I have been putting the hammers through extensive testing, and have discovered a few things with the HT I need to fix. Jim Batson (ABS president) is here visiting and gave me a TON of good advice on how to make them even better, It should be all solved this week. thanks everyone for your patience.

Wish I came up to meet him this weekend. Anyway good to hear you got it all figured out those hammers are pretty friggin sweet.
 
Good news.

I was begining to think Aldo had told you about my plans for your motorbike this year at Ashokan, and you didn't want to make me a hammer now.
 
Thought you were in a black hole in outer space ! Now with all this hammer expertese are you writing a hammer book ?
 
I just learned that Tracy Mickley is holding a hammer-in next month, just a few hours from me. I'm hoping to be able to take one of your hammers with me.

Interesting, I just took some aged jerky out to send you. Mighty good stuff. I'll get it shipped out tomorrow, so check the PO Box on Monday. Or, would you rather I shipped them to Peter's?

Sam is hard to get a reply from these days. We were talking about a hammer two months ago and I still can't get him to send me his paypal address.
 
Sam is in Black Smith Heaven out in West Jersey. Forging all day and wine women and song all night. He's gone to the Dark Side.(and having a good time of it.) Don't feel bad Stacy. Where do you think the steel came from? We'll fix him come September!:cool:

I get the wine and song part, buy WOMEN...are we talking about the same Sam??????

(Since sam is too busy to read the forums, we can poke fun at him...he'll never know.)
 
I'm beginning to think Sam is a hammer tease.... twice, he has stood me up. Maybe the hammers are better now... but the pain from the let down is still burning deep down. Oh, wait... it's just flux spatter.... carry on.

I got a reply from an email a while ago.. Aldo just give him a good kick in the Can!:D

No messages exactly... His wait time for hammers is becoming Randallesque....;) I figured I better put my name in for one now as I will need one in March of 2016........:rolleyes:

Rick, sorry man. Cold showers don't help with hammer blues.... My new hammer from Tai Goo came yesterday at the only time nobody was home, so the postman took it away... I'm heading to the post office between jobs because I can't wait!
 
Aldo...Just remind him of the Teletubbies, Pink and purple are good colors for him LOL! And hopefully we get good news about the hammers :D Would love to use it to beat some of the steel i just ordered from you. Sam is an awesome guy...He just needs some harrassment :p
