I have been in the middle of a discussion on this board about help with specific building a forging press and the help I have received has been unmeasurable Thanks Ken!
My question is do I plan in wear plates, or they are not necessary on a home use unit?
I was just going to install them anyway until I looked at the price of 954 Aluminum Bronze No Kidding the raw materials could cost more than my cylinder pump and motor!!!!
Ao on my original thread it was said that they are not always needed as long as you keep things greased. I'm ok with that.
Does anyone have any pics of wear plates and how they are retained on their presses?????
Can I use 1/2-inch Delrin I have a metric ass ton of that???
