I have to cover up my BK2 tattoo.
Sheeple here get weird about the strangest things, and it caused some negativity which has affected my wife and family.

yeah, stupid, but i live where i live.

Haven't been here in a while, but as this is how i gained Beckerhead status, and you were kind enough to gift me a knife because of it, perhaps some kind of pennance is in order?

best regards, and hope all is well

That really sucks. I'd like to hear more about the circumstances. Also a pic before it gets covered.

I say screw em and just get two bk-9's across your back. And an 11 across your forehead. Haha. Last one was a joke but would be kinda cool.

Hey Rigid.......

No worries....... I am just honored that you got it to begin with....... The sheeple are a giant pain and they are multiplying alarmingly........

Best of luck and come around more often......

All Best....

cover with shirt. no problems :D

How do they know what it means? I have a tat of demons face ripping out skin on my upper left arm.
A t shirt covers most of it by default. But the lower face and teeth are visible.

I made it a point to not let other dictate who I am, if I do I'm a slave to them. I don't give a rip if the people in my crazy community like or dislike me.

I say add some micarta handle scales to it and give the blade a nice patina and be done with it. :D

I can't see why anyone would have a problem with your tattoo. I think the real problem is they have a problem with tattoo's in general. IDK.

Looked good to me man.

That's ridiculous. How is that even offensive? Are people that sensitive?

I bet the people this offended claim to be "open minded" and "accepting".

I'm sorry to hear that.

I can't imagine how they even perceived this.

Exactly what do you mean by "cover up"?

I'm not into tattoos, but I don't see a problem there. Long-sleeve t-shirt, or a dress shirt or a flannel or a standard business suit will cover that up and appease the sheeple quite nicely... they'll never know it was there. No need to pass up a good job opportunity because of it. If someone in your personal life really objects to the fact that you like knives... *shrug*

Rock on

^This, precisely^
I just started a new job and love it...except...on my second day I wore an H&K ball cap that I've had for years, didn't even think about it...
I was told by one of the other managers, (another gun-guy), rather sheepishly, that wearing any firearm or military-related clothing was a no-no.
Half an hour later, while taking my break, I had to listen to one of my other co-workers talk about their "alternative" lifestyle...THAT, apparently is OK, but showing a picture of a gun or knife is offensive...
Brave new world we live in...

Sorry it has come to this. I have no tattoos, just not for me.
All I can say is you do what you have to. Just be true to yourself.

^pretty much like this.... ^

it gives me an anurism trying to fathom people, im not really what you would call an "approachable" person anyway, but my wife has asked me a favor.

Darkside, thanks for the offer, but my buddy is already on it.
