...yes...it is true...I just bought a blade that WAS NOT made in the Wauseon Factory of Dreams....:eek::eek:

I was prowling an Aussie forums and came across a ZT301 that just shouted at me ....it was like the call of a Mermaid to a Sailor....I knew if I responded I would be called to my demise.....so now I have been dragged down by a beautiful temptress .... but...I gotta say....I am not really struggling.... ;)

Those familiar with the Aussie Customs issues being posed in relation to the importation of FOLDING knives here will understand what I jumped on it. It did put a hole in my Remington 7615 fund however.... :( But that seems to be the only downside I can dream up... :D

The 301 is a great knife! ZT's are basically the Busse's of the folder world. I love my 0560! Goes with me everywhere.

It's not a sin! The 301 is a great knife! I have a 350 on the way that a friend bought for me as a birthday present (long story.) It should be here Monday. I would rather the frame lock, but the size of the 350 is better for me. I'll get an 0560 (if I can find one,) or 0300 when I move out of the city.

Congrats on your new blade! We need pictures!

Wow they look as rugged as all hell. I had never heard of them before. I found a link to a guy just showing 2 models off with music and from all angles. They not only look pretty rugged but are visually appealing as well. One looked almost like a tankbuster folder heh.

Well, since you posted that pic of that sweet ASH you're forgiven. Could have sworn I pre-ordered a 561 but the dealer got his shipment and never contacted me. Maybe the next batch.

I just got a 300. It's a hell of A blade I felt a little more comfortable bringing it over my normal Edc severtech while on vacation. Losing a knife that can easily be replaced it a huge bonus as I recently lost my most favorite shms. Took the 300 white water rafting zip lining and go cart racing. Held firm against my pocket or waistband without ever fearing it coming loose. So far I really love the 300

Heck, tons of Busse guys collect a variety of different knives. I own an Emerson CQC-8 production, Hinderer XM-24 and a ZT 0300. But yeah, at this time, all my fixed blades are Busse (Can't seem to buy a Rat or Scrap to save my life :D :p )

Congrats!!
The 0300 series ZT's are AWESOME!!
I love mine. The only improvement I would ask for is to lose the recurve but that improvement was made on the 0560's.

Now the waiting begins...I am guessing it will not land before midweek and I am now looking down the barrel of 12 days away with work... :( I hate waiting....always have....if there was ever someone who hated waiting it was me...have I mentioned how much I hate waiting..>???

Oh, you'd LOVE the US postal service. Apparently, they test them for efficiency during the hiring process. Anyone who seems to be slightly efficient is immediately rejected.

BTW... how did testicles get brought into this? I'm sensitive there...

Still, I go with the Spyderco Police model. Carried one since the early '90's... I've dressed whitetail with it twice. IMO that is about as 'hard use' as I get with a folder. The 300 series is an impressive knife, but it weighs about as much as a 1911 and takes up a lot of pocket.

Lots of guys I respect love em though. And that's good enough for me. :D
