I'd like to engage but it's rude not having introduced myself. I'm super happily married, three kids & a small dog.
I'm 44, in construction 23yrs & married 19. I love knives, watches, a/v, my wife & buy tools; lots of tools 4 lots of trades.
I don't book my face or socialize well in person or forums, i'm under construction though.
Thank You for Your forum.

Hey, welcome to the forum. You appear to be a typical American normal. I'm with you on not booking myself on the internet, very selective.

Welcome to a great forum.

Hey Cameron, welcome.

This is a great place to visit. I'm 43, and have been an electrician for 22 years, married 13 years. I avoid the bookfaced masses as much as I can, and enjoy contributing to forums with a little more substance and community and a little less self-indulgence and constant approval seeking. So maybe we have some things in common, in addition to a love of knives, and tools (I got a bad fetish for hand tools, in particular screwdrivers and pliers.....suppose that makes sense).

All the best.

Welcome Cameron !!!!
I see what you did there , you're in construction and you're under construction....well done, well done.
This is a great place to be, lot's of good folks here.
I was a little shy at first also, but then aren't we all.
So, what CRK's do you have???

Welcome Cameron, so what kinda knives ya got, I mean this is a knife forum. :)

BTW don't forget to check out our sub forums, there's something for everyone just don't forget to read the stickies at the top of each page as they are forum specific.

They call me Ted and I'm here doing court mandated community service, just 243 hrs to go. ;)

Just kiddin' . ;)

Welcome! I think it's safe to say that we all enjoy another nice member with whom to interact. I, myself, am far from a social individual, but I've really come to enjoy the community here. If I go a stretch without posting, I can still relax and read as much as I desire, without any guilt for not getting involved. I'm sure we all have those times.

Enjoy your time here, and I look forward to seeing you in future discussions, or just sitting back reading, all the same. :)

I'll add in, too, what CRKs do you have?

I am new here too. Been into knives and sharpening my whole life. Just got into tactical folders the last 5 years. Been on the BM forum and bought mostly BM's the last few years. Got my first CRK, Small Sebenza and love it. I will definitely be getting more. Looking already at the Mnandi, small Insingo, and a large something. Finally checked out BF and glad I did. Great section CRK and others.

Welcome Cameron! Love you, Ted. 😊

mlamb, "typical American normal" i like it, happy to wear that one. Thank You for the welcome.

Hey Cody, great to meet a spark here and at it for a life time too. i always sigh and tell my coworkers "should've been an electrician".
Keep a Snap-On ratcheting screw driver in my pouch and never regretted the $; arched my be$t side cuts; should've been an electric... Sparkys are great when you're less self-indulgence and devoid constant approval seeking. Taking the best, thank You brother.

AJack, You're sharp, like the word whisperer. None yet, planning on an Inkosi with dam blade and possibly m scales. Then a small Sabenza. Haven't handled the Ink yet but smaller works for me. I looked at the Sab & Insingo and couldn't bond with the Insingos look; so for now i'm hoping to handle the Ink two weeks from now at a show. Thank You for the welcome.

Hello Ted, hate the Dead avatar! i have a beaters, a couple small double bladed folders, a small single blade, a blade that resembles the Italian switch blades like in The Outsiders. A Puma Backpacker. Currently i only carry a traditional double bade. I've let a couple BenchMade Naks go (484-1) and think i'll stop looking to buy till i hit a show in a couple weeks. I'll stop.

chapman, thanx; i pitched my hat into three forums and didn't expect so much activity, cool. No CRKs yet, hope to post picts of my first CRK soon, a couple weeks. Camus quotes a keeper.

Geocyclist, thank You for the welcome. BM 940s a favorite, to long for my edc. They make some keepers. This was this forum that got me researching and handling the CRKs. Love the knowledge here. i avoided the higher end pieces in that corner case at GP, You guys drove me to handle a couple, there's a tale to be told; i won't. Knives back to 8yrs old too, crazy dads.

Thanx Trip, cool. I feel at home already. If that flys in Your thumb i'd like to see the extraction avatar. Cool WTB blade, a design with soul.

blade2klean, thank You!

Welcome aboard!! You picked a great place to start. I don't book the face either. I spend enough time on here and CPF to keep me busy.

Welcome to the forum, and be advised, rule #2 is: without a photo, it didn't happen!Bart
