Hi guys,

I'm philwar, RL name Daniel. I live in Holland, am 46 years old, married, 2 sons, freelance software developer, avid handgun shooter, martial artist (mostly Muay Thai - still compete - and some grappling) and long time knife collector/user.
I've only fairly recently 'discovered' Busse but already own 5 models. I really want a Busse sword as well but am having no luck, so I contacted SRKW for their Waki. The status of that blade is unclear to me, I'm hoping anyone can give me more information on expected delivery and such.

Anyway, I've been following the sales subforum and this part for some time now and plan to get a bit more active.

The WAKIs are starting to ship now, if you already placed your order.

You can contact Eric Isaacson about ordering one if you have not done so already.

This will be my first Busse family "sword", so I can't wait to get it. Hopefully this week :-)
 
Welcome Daniel! The Busse family swords are rare and don't show up very often. The WAKI would be your best bet right now and the choices are phenomenal!

yea, what everyone else said, Welcome! These Busse are kinda addictive but it seems too late for you already, seems you have already caught the bug :)

You will forever be searching the Exchange, Obscure web sites, and ALL the Auction sites!

You will also get to know some really good folks, so pull up a comfortable Computer chair and light up a nice cigar...you're going to stay awhile:thumbup::thumbup:
