Started with a little hand smoothing, not finished alhtough it already feels real good!

Want to get these down to a really fine grit and...just spent about an hour on it today, so just beginning...although I could stop here feel-wise...

Next steps (after hand smoothing to my liking), edge work, use and stripping on down the line...

I really need to take some sandpaper to my BGTG and hog badger handles.

I'm thinking of leaving the rear portion of the bgtg handle with more of the ribs, smoothed out, and getting the front section much smoother.

Thinking of how I'd use it, I choke up for fine tasks where I would tend to move the knife around more and need less grip, but if I'm swinging hard to chop I hold farther back and would need more stick in my grip especially since when I chop I tend to be wearing leather gloves.

But I'm liking it so far. Sad I didn't get in on this one, I think that's going to come out very nice, especially with the sexy lines of the FTG.
