Here are some pics of the FM next to a NMFBM, MOAB, and Carothers BC

A few initial thoughts.
I split a few pieces of wood with the FM to see how it feels. It will take a few sessions to get a better feel of the knife, the thinned swedge area, where I tend to hit with a baton/mallet, will wear out batons fast.
Over time I'll compare side by side with NMFBM since it is the same thickness and see how they stack up, the NMFBM is the gold standard for a chopping knife for me.
The MOAB is the beast-est of them all, that thing cuts through knots with authority and is not really a fair comparison to the FM IMHO.

Great pics! I didn’t realize the CPK BC was quite that big, I’m definitely looking forward to mine arriving. I agree with you about the MOAB, the only knife I have ever used that has matched up to it is my Sasquatch.

To me, the difference is in the weight, balance, and handling of the ForM vs. those others. I don't have a MOAB, but I do have a MOABOLO + those other 2 models.

The Nuked ForM is definitely more lithe and lively than the BC or NMFBM. And it's not a TGLB vs. TG like difference where you almost have to imagine you feel the difference in heft and handling.

There is ZERO DOUBT when you grab ahold of a Nuke ForM the LB treatment and fuller are true difference makers.

Along with the Battle Saw, this is my personal favorite "new" large model to come out of Ohio. Good pork!

MY FM is ~25.5 oz and the BC is ~24.3 oz ,but the FM feels more agile in hand to me as well.
I think a 100% winner will be a 12.5" CBT NMFBM( convex grind) version with LB treatment. That would be the most insane chopper IMHO. I believe that the convex grind of the NMFBM is the ultimate feature a chopping/batonning knife can have.

My FM is 27.1 oz, (g10)

Thinking about changing the handle to micarta for an ultimate user. Didn’t think it through And smooth G10 is kinda slick. I guess I could always wrap it though.
