Hi,
I work as a butcher in an establishment that used to provide forschner victorinox knives, but recently switched over to some chinese crap. I am in need of a newer knife, and another butcher who used to work with me gave me a forschner.
Before I bring this knife into work, I would like to rule out the possibility that my butcher friend stole this knife from my employer when we used to work together. What concerns me is that the knife has a 5.7300.25 marking/stamp on it below the 40131 model number on the blade. The stamp is identical to the I-Forschner and Victorinox Emblem stamps so I'm certain it's from the factory.
Does anyone know what the 5.7300.25 indicates?
