Forum Avatar image?

This is the first forum I have used where I couldnt figure out how to set my avatar. Is this setting disabled for new users, or am I just missing it?

Click on "settings" in the top right corner of the page, then on the left side is a list of options. Under "My Settings" click "Edit Avatar" and follow the prompts.
