Has Becker ever given any thought to a forum knife? Never seen one posted so I guess no such beast exists?

its been brought up before but that's about it, you're talking about like a BF knife right??not just subforum specific.. tweenerish would be cool and if all else failed maybe a #13 in 01, D2 or something different for 'forum only' knife... only change would be tool steel and etching, this would keep costs down in production.. maybe 1-500...

I like the idea....

That's interesting. Why the 13? Because of size?
 
That's what the Limited run BK 10 was/is. Ka bar did that for the BeckerHeads.

it was this year, in the last few months. kabar probably has some left (not many, hurry).

Yes, the BK10 was the forum knife.

However, that doesn't stop me from wanting another one :).

no, no, no.... a forum knife is one specific to the cause.... like a blade forum slippie, engraved etched adn limited...

the bk10 was left over stock from an action that kabar/becker was so kind and gracious to hook us up with :D

the #13 I suggested is because that's my number .....

Oh ha ha! Don't get me wrong a D2 BK13 would be pretty awesome.

Something unique would be cool too. Like pouch, handle scales, or of the like. Something community driven would be cool. Although these things take time and money, so I understand. Did those bottles make it out and I missed it?

Now that the Gathering is over, we can get back to business on those items. The leg work is done, we just have to place orders, that's about where we are at.

As to the forum knife, we have done one already (which you knew :D), and others are in the works. When I say others, what I mean is we have kicked around several ideas regarding the "next" forum knife we might do, but nothing is final.
