I’ve been a member for a few years now and I see forum knives? Where do these knives show up for sale to members? Is there a 2019 forum knife coming? Thanks in advance

Are you talking about the Traditional forum knives? The threads discussing these knives pop up in the Traditional forum and the process for ordering them has changed a bit over the years. There are usually some polls about the design and materials involved, but it's been a few years since I participated. I think I've seen a couple threads about it already this year.

Pretty much what Danny said.
Answers to your questions depend on what you are talking about.

There have been BladeForums knives that were modern designs. Those are not particularly an annual thing. If/when Spark organizes another, it will likely be in the BF header.

There are also BladeForums Traditional knives. Those have been organized in the Traditional Forum. They have been done every year for the last eight or nine years. We are planning to do one this year. It's still in the planning stages. Typically the order thread exists as a sticky in the Traditional Forum and stays open for a couple of weeks. You pay up front, then the knives are made and delivered later in the year. Last year we ordered in August, and the knives were delivered in December. Can't speak for this year, yet.

We did a couple BFC exclusive knives some years back, including a BladeForums.com Skyline from Kershaw and a Congress Jack from GEC... we haven't done them for years for a few reasons. I allow the Traditional Forum to organize a BladeForums.com Edition traditional design every year under some restrictions.

Thank you for that. :)

There have been 13 traditional Blade Forum Knives 8 of them with our own tang stamp with a 10 dot dating system similar to Case.

Heres the 12 of the traditional forum knives made to date from 2006-2017
